  1. If you research into why companies continue to ignore the consumer/public/internet, you realise that certain investment groups have a agenda to push. E.g. BlackRock and their ranking system that basically dictates how attractive a company is in terms of investment. Ultimately companies that sell a product have no care for you as a consumer, they simply want your money and will happily sacrifice a portion of those sales for the larger score. This is why it's extremely important to not be attached to a brand - it's the definition of foolish.
