Women compete aesthetically with each other; their ranking in regards to other women effects their confidence & self-esteem. The only women that complain about Mr. DiCaprio's dating habits are older and/or less attractive than the women he has available to him. The subtractors don't have access to that ranking of man - nothing more complicated than this.

@londontipton6260 So it's not who he's dating, it's that he has the status/wealth/fame to do so? Why is that bad? Women have that ability too, yet it tends to be when they're at their physical prime. Thus the honey-trap. I use Henry Cavil as an example. It's well documented that women make rules for some and break for others. It's not a rare occurrence.

@londontipton6260 Care to explain why it's more complicated and why you personally don't like it? I'd argue if Henry Cavil was behaving the same, most women wouldn't have a problem.

@londontipton6260 The age gap isn't a new preference. Historically women - I should say girls - were married very young. That's not to fetishizes girls, it was a societal standard that wasn't considered abnormal or wrong. The opposite is true today, clearly.
