@wavy_kate Of course if you had your feet forcibly removed, that's worse. My point being, if you weren't injured, it's often the sounds that stick with you in those situations. Let alone the inability to escape the situation; most people flee from major incidents.

I can tell you from personal, first hand experience, that the inability to act is far worse for the non-injured.

He didn't go into the wild to die, he went to find life. Unfortunely he died after realising what life means to him. Tragic in every sense of the word.

@thebrettyouneed178 Exactly. Far easier said than done. I've free-climbed for almost a decade now and can tell you, people literally become a danger to themselves and others when truly terrified. Even at a few feet off the ground.

Likely paid off.

@anitadavenport7209 lol it's a common occurrence, nothing to be ashamed about. Many people are scared of falling, not necessarily the height. I'd always recommend you climb with someone who's experienced and if you stop to panic, trust in their knowledge. I've taken part in rescues that have required the person to literally calm down before I got too close; A couple of people actually tried grabbing me as I approached, risking my life and theirs.

Nature punishes us for mistakes, society caters too it.

I hope the person who's foot made contact, wasn't charged with the death.

There really shouldn't be a warning in regards to falling to your death. It's not to assume stupidity, it's just that your natural instinct should be strong enough to prevent this. If not, well, it's called 'natural selection' for a reason.

Chimps of psychotic animals, extremely strong (A well built human male wouldn't be able to withstand a Chimp attack) aggressive and intelligent. They'll literally tear other chimps and animals apart, whilst they're alive. Not always for food, but because they can. They've been known to cannibalise their own social group. I'd rather take my chances with a Gorilla than a Chimpanzee.

You missed the point. He didn't go into the wild to die, he went to find life. Unfortunely he died after realising what life means to him. Tragic in every sense of the word.

And yet the same happens in the 21st century - Black Friday. It can be understood, to a degree, from children. Not from adults. If you're going to attack me for this comment, think twice.

@romrom920 You're conflating my point to fit your offence. Please don't jump to conclusions without thinking.
1
@romrom920 You missed this part: 'Black friday hasn't killed 183 people' Is conflating to fit your narrative. With the conflation, you can take offense. Offense that you don't need to take as I wasn't mocking anything.

@romrom920 You don't understand.

Because the guy was cowardly piece of shit. He couldn't face death alone.

People wonder why I've never been to a theme park. Nah I'm good thanks.

I've been free-climbing for 8 years now and climbing for over 30 years. I understand, to a degree, the caver's mentality. Yet I'd much rather fall to my death with a great view, than die in a dark hole.

Action Park would of suited the 'Jackass' boys, rather than the public!

Thankfully they couldn't burn the salt. Radioactive smoke would be a nightmare situation for everyone!
