  1. Tbh I believe there's tons of life, species and that we've been contacted before. There's literally evidence from our first recording of information, aka history, to the present day. Are we special or unique? Likely not. Just a variant on life; we're as foreign to a Millipede as we are to other conscious beings. It's just that our ego, arrogance and fear won't allow for such a simply answer. Are we going to meet any other forms of conscious life? I'd say not whilst we're going through a environmental catastrophe. Once the planet has corrected it's self (or just reacted to our presence in away that doesn't result in a net gain for our species), we're more likely to see progress.

  2. I reckon it won't be technology that we'll meet, it'll be a hive mind-type of biological species that simply produces it's kind to suit to the environment/enemy; an evolutionary apex species. Overcoming the technological barriers that have prevented other species from becoming intergalactic.

  3. I've come to the conclusion that our timeline of events described as our history is wildly inaccurate, if not completely fabricated for narrative control. Only have to look at Archaeology during the 19/20th century - massive boys club that span the truth to suite their own beliefs. Heck, even Egypt in the modern world is secretive and guarded.
