  3. I'll share the effects of tiktok: My 8 year old niece is being checked by doctors for a learning difficulty / mental disorder because of her addiction to tiktok. My sister is convinced it's ADHD. It's so bad that my niece literally sits in a foetal position for hours at a time, without once looking away from the screen that's inches from her face. Her mother has to text her to remind her to use the bathroom, eat and drink. Yes I've highlighted this to my sister, yet because I insist on raising this concern, it's actually ruined our relationship. All because both mother and daughter are addicted. 😔

  4.  @stellalucens  Honestly: My adult sisters use tiktok. They're both brainwashed by the tiktok narratives. They get all their information on current events and people, from tiktok. I don't value their opinions because they're not interested in anything that challenges "their thoughts". They only want to reinforce their own views. They can't hold a conversation without it leading to: 'Have you seen this tiktok?' or such

It's far easier to look for external justifications than to look at the failures of self first. My issue with BLM is that they're holding the current generations hostage with guilt, enforced shame and blame. It's a movement that thrives on dragging old skeletons out of the closet. There has to be a point where people look at themselves, they're social circles and they're own underpinnings. After all, if everyone you meet is a a-hole, chances are, you're the problem.

If you don't see the dangers on social media, then you're ignorant. E.g. Think: Why does Zuckerberg not allow his children to use smart tech? Why is tiktok in the west, different from the it's original form that's shown in China?
