  1. Absolutely! Most never understand the need to be mindful of your character. I.e. Don't harbour anti-social character traits (Something that's glorified in modern life). The effects of one person's decent into depravity has enormous consquences for society as a whole.

These specific people tend to be those that were civillians, turned to the Nazi Party and had their latent anti-social traits exacerbated by the raw, unfiltered control over people deemed only worthy of death. I'd dare say it's the extreme few that wouldn't become a monster. Myself included!
