My thought, don’t do it. Wait till you’re ready for the camper van. What ever you want to add to your load, see if its nesssary at this time. Perhaps see about ways you can be more compact. Ie: installing like a shoe rack or like wise on the side to hold things, your cloths, can they be rolled up after your do laundry to keep them the most compact, can you build a drawer under your fridge to have that space utilized for extra storage. Or can you install in certain places like a hammock on the inside of the roof of your vehicle to hold things there as well? Options you can try out. I just think you won’t in the end appreciate the stuff on the outside. In the long run as you do utilize your back door for the view etc. the length of the vehicle may impact spaces you can fit into. Anyways, there is my two cents.
