To the ruZZian who asks "Where is our glorious army?" It's in Ukraine committing war crimes.

Respect for those good Russians who risked their freedom to speak the truth about Ukrainians.

Russia attacks it's neighbours, russifies them, takes away their independence, persecutes its citizens, commits genocide and then wonders why said neigbours don't want a repeat.

Western governments need to up their game. I live in the West, and I'm angry.

I worked in factories for 19 years. Not good. Then, I went to university to follow my passion. Best thing I ever did.

Beautiful speech by the Ukrainian soldier. This is why the world must support Ukraine for as long as it takes. Freedom is in sight. Better not let that flame go out.
118
Pootin is the worst thing to happen to ruzzia and the world in many decades.

Jake Broe is such a genuine guy and his content is always great, but this fundraiser brings it to a whole new level. It speaks a lot to Jakes character and the type of audience he attracts.
28
So there's a choice between very bad and very very bad...
21
An absolutely fantastic discussion and a great guest.
17
For a country as huge and as resource rich as ruzzia is, people are shockingly poor.
16
Seems as though Russia has always been a trouble-maker. It has no other purpose.
15
Great news. Poland and Ukraine need to stick together.
14
I don't see a lot of hate, just mostly people taking sides. It's an extremely controversial topic with strong opinions and positions and no easy solution. Perhaps even no solution.
13
I noticed the comments had disappeared but the whole video had been buffered, so kept watching. And here I am again. Great show as usual.
12
Fantastic explanation. You've effectively answered the question I asked in your previous video about the value of the ruble.
11
Another great interview.

Love the Noam Chomsky comments. Can't remember ever agreeing with anything the man ever said on geopolitics. It's almost as if he's come under some kind of Russian influence, perhaps as child? His anti west anti American bias is very odd. Almost fanatical.
8
Most Russians wouldn't know why they're fighting. Ukrainians understand very well.
8
Talking about reality, actually, but some people prefer ruzzian lies.
7
Getting Ukraine's grain out to markets will be another defeat for pootin.
6
Excellent guest.
6
Another great discussion. Thank you.
5
This is a 12-minute video. Do you want an hour?
5
Fantastic interview.
5
Excellent and spot-on. Thank you.
5
This time, the weirdest bunch of trolling commenters I've ever encountered on this channel!

It's shocking to think that half of America are such uninformed simpletons that would vote for someone like Trump. I'm not even American, but I thought Trump was ok in 2016, but wow, not anymore. He has clearly lost the plot.
4
Yeah, I'd been trying to get my head around the java ecosystem, and now my hair is thinning rapidly :(
4
You're doing an incredible job. Much respect.
4
I don't believe Russia as it is currently with it's brainwashed population understands peace. It could take a generation to disappear before they're ready. And given that I'm of the same age group, I'll never live to see it.
3
Brilliant and spot on as usual. Trump hates Ukraine. Probably because he couldn't get what he wanted and then the impeachmentt that followed.
3
Some of it is easy but it soon becomes incredibly difficult when you get to differential equations or anything containing trig functions or log functions... or a bunch of other things. Integration by substitution is a nightmare. It never clicked, nor did integration by parts. Even partial differentiation which looks conceptually easy is not so.
3
Thank you for a wonderful discussion with a wonderful guest. Hoping someone can answer this... Why does Russia lie about everything? It needs to focus on fixing itself instead of wrecking its neighbors. Why is Russia so blind to the obvious? As for the Russian language, I've always had a dislike for the sound of it. The language just sounds bad. It grates. No offense intended.
3
Sadly for me, the sound of barking dogs triggers a complete meltdown. I just don't tolerate dogs and I'm all out of valium. I'll have to give this one a miss... but thanks for the great work you're doing.
3
That was very interesting and enlightening.
3
Your guest was incredibly informative. I hope you have him back on.

India is morally bankrupt, and so are some of the Indian media. Openly pro Putin.
2
Ukraine reclaimed roughly 50% of the territory taken by Russia in 2022. I see no reason why they can't do it again. Russia is weaker than it was then. Ukraine is stronger. Taking 50% of the remaining could have them knocking on the door of Crimea.
2
Look it up. I think Joe Bloggs has covered this topic more than once. China and India buy the bulk of it. Turkey and a few dodgy EU countries buy some.
2
China aside... no surprise that Russia defended its right to not lockdown.... no surprise at all given Russia and Russian's apparent total disregard for human life.
2
Trump's words don't indicate anything reliably
2
NATO needs to call an emergeny meeting between all members. Even if they take no action, they must be seen doing to be doing something.
2
Brilliant and informative. I've being working with C++ for 25 years but pretty much ignored everything C++11 onward. This is the first explainatiom of unique_ptr that made any sense... and they actually look useful.
2
He has thousands already. Not sure why he would waste meager resources on tripling them?
2
He knows what's going on and he is regularly spot on. Unlike the trolls who like to parrot ruzzia.
2
Wonderful guest. Thank you.
2
This was really good and timely for me being mid 60's.
2
Russia's attack on grain has to be seen as yet another war crime.
2
A nation state as belligerent as Russia, a state run by thugs, and a state that invades annexes and commits war crimes and genocide on the scale and frequency as Russia does should not exist in the 21st century.
2
What nonsense. ABBA was always cool with the fans. We knew best.
1
Countries such ss China Iran and India who continue to trade with Russia are prolonging the war.
1
@DeveloperVoices I have that book. The Pascal version. Bought a hard cover copy 30 years ago. The book just appealed to me for some reason. It was also the textbook for an introduction to a computer programming course at my university.
1
My head hurts.
1
I didn't understand any of that stuff @30:00 onward
1
I think he was viewing it both ways.
1
Best explaination I've ever seen, and it's the first one that made any sense.
1
Actually, going from Windows 10 to Windows 11 was a pleasent surprise. Much nicer look and feel than 8/8.1 and 10. In fact W11 is the first Windows version since 7 that looks good and has a sensibly designed start menu.
1
If there were an election this year, the russians would throw every at high jacking the election. Russia would love to install a puppet.
1
What to do next? For most people, it's pretty simple.... free upgrade to Windows 11... and ignore the scarmongering, lies, conspiracy theories, and uninformed bs. Windows 11 is better than 10.
