  2. Alex xeon Wait until it's your bypass surgery or tumor removal... you might change your thinking. I would rather pay the tax (and I do) and not pay the health insurance so that this type of shit doesn't happen and the insurance companies don't become the fat cats.

  3. Kitten Moon Correct. It works reasonably well in my country. My friend had cancer... surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and regular follow ups, all free (no insurance) with overall tax rates only a little higher than the US.
