  1. devourerofbabies A lot of good points but cars and trains are not necessarily made by the same companies and the decisions around whether to build more trains or more roads is often political. My experience of public transport is that the trains are often dangerous, dirty and overcrowded. Trains are often running late, skipping stations or are cancelled and they don't go to where I need to go. They're not a total solution.
