  6. Assuming he does, that's not the same thing as what the woke left are doing. He might lose it personally, but the left are working the whole system from the inside. One of the goals being to shut down speech that fails the woke test. They might struggle with this in the US due to the constitution, but in many other countries, they are selectively shutting down free speech through legislation, through bullying, through cancel culture and deplatforming.

  7. Not sure what you meant re atheism but is there anything wrong with atheism? Given the complete lack of credibal evidence in support of any god or gods, isn't lacking a belief in said gods the only rational outcome? I was indoctrinated as a child, but later in life when I actually dug into the origins of god beliefs and religions, I discovered how it was all made up. Many people think I'm bad because I'm an atheist. I don't get it.

  9. Maybe you've missed the point then, right? Think about what he means by "gifted". A person can be gifted and broken inside and weak and shallow. That describes me as a child. I had an awful time making friends. Most kids hated me and I was bullied relentlessly all the way through my school years. Yet I was regularly top of class or top of my grade academically.

  11. I found it all boring until University. But that's exactly what he's describing. It's not the oppossite. Gifted kids are not challenged until say college / university... it's all too easy and for some, it's boring.

  12. Yeah, I think I've operated that way for most of my life. Now mid 60s. I've always criticised emotion and promoted intellect. Emotion never made sense to me. I also hated sport because it seemed pointless and I was also very bad at it. Same with dance, music and art. Not things I ever wanted to participate in. I also hate parties.
