  1. That gives me an extra 10 years... we still haven't adopted C++11 yet. Lol Something like 90% of our codebase was developed in the 90s.

  2. ​​​ @N....  Stop being a pedantic language lawyer. There's always one in every comment section. There were no smart pointers when I started developing in C++. And there is still no smart pointer useage in the huge C++ code base I work on because most of it predates the introduction into the language. It's all vanilla.
