Yeah, Zelensky knows putin has no intention of withdrawing his troops, but he has to play along with Trump.

The concept of "escalation" makes no sense within the context of defending against an invading force.

Really, I thought it was spot on. Maybe you're the guy they were talking about? Pro russia trolls.
6
You hit the nail on the head. Liberal immigration policies have done a lot of damage.
6
Similar process in Australia and NZ.
5
I don't like him as a commentator. I think he's too biased to be taken seriously. I see him as a kind of Chomsky lite... just blame the West for everything.
5
You're cherry-picking.
5
It can be a dilemma for true conservatives... vote for your own broken (maga) side or vote for an even more broken (woke liberal) side but one that supports Ukraine. Think about it.
4
Because voters voted for him. Unbelievable, as that seems.
3
Trolls and bots hyjacking the comments.
3
Peter who? Nothing is coming to an end anytime soon.
3
There are certain ideologies or types or groups of people for which diplomacy will never work.
3
Then go somewhere else if you don't enjoy nuanced discussions.
3
Where did you get that idea from? Brain haemorrhage?

TEAM ISRAEL

@JayEy Rather a different scenario, though, right? 40k hamas operatives hiding in and popping out of tunnels. Human shields everywhere, etc.
2
@forbeginnersandbeyond6089 That's when people become overly cynical. It breeds all sorts of problems of its own, like the craziest of conspiracy theories.
2
@Wack373 You mean you don't know the meaning of "truth"? Really?
2
Not really.
2
Long time ago. Hardly means a thing in 2024.
2
Why do you say that?
2
In your dreams LOL
2
Not really. India is morally bankrupt.

@angussoutter7824 Brexit was caused by the EU, right? We're still complaining about the EU every day. A whole lot of Brits were sick of EU dysfunction on a bunch of issues and wanted out. Of course, financially, it has been a negative, but that's just a side effect of regaining an increased level of sovereignty. The UK financial issues are caused largely by EU protectionism, and protectionism is bad. Bottom line... I wouldn't want to live in an EU country. It's bad enough where I live due EU meddling.

I'll have to dissagree. Russia wanted to turn Ukraine into another puppet state by taking the capital. If that had succeeded, the war in the south would have been unnecessary.
1
You're obviously not too bright, are you... you dozed off and missed a great discussion.
1
@dskthia Why? Most BRICS members trade globaly anyway. BRICS seems pointless.
1
LOL
1
@sethb9545 You'll be the loser. Tariffs and isolationism are a recipe for financial disaster. It's all be tried before and it failed.
1
Too many Democrat voters stayed home on election day.
1
Both sides are begging for help, so how do you interpret that? I thought russia was a superpower, yet it's begging for help. I guess pootin is too stupid to realise that he can't win in the long run.
1
It is not a proxy war... moron. Newsflash: Trump can't stop it. Only Putin can stop it. He started it.
1
That's no more true of Westerners than any other. It's a human trait. And there're plenty of Western YouTubers providing evidence.

@tendwaten6027 You can mock, but the thing is, ruzzians are throwing away their lives in order to grab pieces of land that will in the long term will be returned to Ukraine after the war. It's utter madness. You see, it's one thing to grab and open field or a village, but long term, ruzzians will have to fight to forever to hold it. They only positive right now out of all of the misery caused by pootin is that ruzzia is burning through its Soviet stockpile and its wealth fund pretty quickly, and it's all for nothing.
1
Not necessarily.
1
I like the way the so-called "insurrection" in the US was described at @5:00. Spot on. Didn't look anything like one.
1
He is completely legitimate... IGNORANT TROLL. Hint: Before typing, check facts.
1
Jake talked about immigration into Europe but he missed the most problematic issue... Islam. Indistinguishable? Not likely. This is a big part of what the far right are complaining about. Integration? Not likely.
1
Why does that matter other than that it helped Ukraine elect the right president for the job? I'm just curious. I'd never heard about that.
1
Trump is installing a clown show of pro ruzzian wierdos and incompetent conspiracy theorists. No one can predict what will happen.
1
You forgot to mention the Iraqis rejoicing and celebrating im the streets at the arrival of the American and/or allied troops into their towns. Very many Iraqi's also support the overthrow of their scumbag leader. Sadly, it turned into a regolous war, and the rest is history. An opportunity squandered by religious and tribal cranks. Jake conveniently forgot to mention this.
