However, their territory, their rules, and you did well by playing by them simply because they're your employer. Clearly, you cannot take her anywhere. That would prompt me to leave as well; difference being I would pay for my own coffee (and her drink as it's safe to assume I'd have been the one inviting her out, so obviously it's on me).
