excellent! citing you in a research project. I had read several academic articles on the subject and understood them, but this really cleared it up for me. screw arbitrary overhead allocation.

This perfectly describes CCPM, or what i consider Production Scheduling. Such a simple tool that ERP software systems must offer, (and don't).

Whenever Phillip puts out a new video, I stop what I'm doing and watch it. Then when I get back to it, and share the lesson with the team we get motivated and morale goes up.

Sharing Knowledge! A core principle of lean! Anyone who decides to appear as a Magician with a wand that, once waived, remedies the problem and creates an optimised and highly performing process and working environment should be treated with EXTREME CAUTION! In this teaser video, we have an alternative! The good and bad lean examples with people who have cut their teeth in the real world! It is clear from their candid and comfortable introduction, that there is no magic wand to be found here; only good advise, insight and tips on what to do right and what to avoid. An all done I the spirit of sharing, because the challenge is not the principles, but how to engage and build an organisation around the objective that Lean challenges us to achieve. Good luck chaps!

This is a really great series, underrated by view-count. I'm an operations professional in a project environment and I could see how useful "critical chain" methodology may be. The idea that you're setting yourself up to deliver early, and "alerting" yourself and others when things are about to be late, instead of once they are already weeks behind deadline is important. I also really like the idea of how a visible fever chart can help employees self-assign themselves to the most important tasks, instead of waiting for their bosses priorities at that time. I like it, I'm drinking the Kool-Aid.

I love these case-studies Phillip! I am wondering what software you used for the CCPM & fever charts, Exepron?

It's very nice to listen to you whether in person or online because of the conviction you have in getting results. Thanks for making and sharing these small nuggets, Philip. Stay safe!
